Abstract:BycombiningtheP2P technology and telecom service platform, the Media Telecom Network (MTN) can provide high Quality of Service (QoS), and secure and creditable digital media services. Compared with current Client/Server (C/S) and Content Delivery Network (CDN)-based digital media system, MTN adopts P2P technology and utilizes user terminals’ resources to enormously reduce investment in the network and service platform; it has advantages such as low cost and high scalability. P2P-based MTN can motivate the digital media industry, and it has a wide market prospect.
